In preparation for Episode 2 of The Good Stuff, which will be a top ten list of 1980s TV shows that should or should NOT get the Hollywood treatment, I thought I'd post a few short samples from some cartoons that were considered but didn't make the list. Either I didn't consider the show "eighties" enough or I found that I really didn't care strongly enough about what Hollywood may or may not do to them. These are mostly nice and short. Enjoy...

Horn Island Voices (2009)
The following is a video by Memphis filmmaker Willie Bearden entitled "Horn Island Voices". It focusses on an annual expedition taken by Memphis College of Art students, faculty, and alumni to Horn Island, a small barrier island just of the gulf coast of Mississippi. Willie put it together in celebration of the expedition's 25th anniversary in 2009. Some of my good friends and I (with considerably shorter hair) are featured in the video being interviewed by Willie. So, I just thought I'd share it here...
